And the formation of the ‘Good Guys’ name. ‘Lets just do it’ Gary said (my brother Gary) Yeah I replied “Saturday morning” so we headed of to Belfast to find some people in need of a little charity, I had gotten the idea from Tony Robbins basket brigade and the whole thing was all about getting out there and giving some genuine help. Belfast was like a ghost town had we arrived too early? We visited some charities and they were shut… looked about for some homeless people but could not find any… I thought this would be much easier in America. We wanted our money to go to good use and thought about giving £20 to each of the foreign lads that usually sell newspapers in the middle of the road (very entrepreneur). We thought they would put the money to good use… but there was no sign of them.

Gary said “there is a place we could try,” five minutes later we arrived at a hostel for homeless guys. The hostel looked promising as there was a young man outside battering the door to get in. I entered the building with him “who are you and what do you want” was the greeting I received once inside, I explained the story and they were very happy they then sent me and Gary off to buy boxer shorts.

Arrived back at the hostel and delivered the goods to be greeted with big smiles and “fair play to you both.” On the way back to Armagh I thought to myself well it is hard to beat a new pair of boxer shorts.
